A. It's really up to you, but if you want fun we recommend light tackles.

Q. What kind of lures should i bring ?
A. Most Rapala's, Storm's and Yozuri's plugs should work as long as they are not deep divers. The crystal minnow by Yozuri is one very good plug for pike, the storm Hot n' tot lure is a good one for walleye. Jointed rapala's are doing the job as well. Our best lures ever up there have been the worm harness and the shad dart jigs for walleye. For pike, the legendary red & white daredevil, the Johnson silver minnow and the Yozuri crystal minnow.
For lakers spoons like williams and fox always been famous. Remember that perch and bright colors like orange and chartreuse are the best in the Cabonga since the water color is very dark. These are just a few lures we know that really work, there are 1000 of brands and colors, bring what you think may work, you never know.
